Doug Mertz is thrilled to work with Thou Art Here again, after serving on the Board for 5 years (4 as President). He last performed for the company in CIVIL BLOOD: A TREATY STORY at Fort Edmonton Park. Most recently Doug appeared as architect Arthur Erickson in THE LIGHT OF OTHER SKIES for the Riser Festival and at the Citadel’s Collider Festival in a reading of AN AGATHA CHRISTIE MYSTERY A COMEDY. Other recent performance credits include: one night as The Narrator in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW for Grindstone and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST at the Citadel Theatre. Doug is an actor, director and speech and dialect coach and an Assistant Professor of Music Theatre Performance at MacEwan University.
